Baked Chicken Parmesan


1 boneless, skinless chicken breast split in half

2 eggs, beaten

¼ cup milk

1 cup panko bread crumbs

¼ tsp La Baleine fine sea salt

¼ tsp freshly cracked black pepper

1 tsp granulated garlic

1 tbsp dried oregano

½ cup parmesan, divided into two

1 ½ cups mozzarella, sliced

1 cup marinara sauce of your choice

1 zucchini spiralized and lightly steamed

Prepare this recipe using our If You Care Waxed Paper.


1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.

2. In a medium bowl, combine the panko, sea salt, pepper, garlic, oregano and ¼ of the parmesan, then set aside. Place the milk in one small bowl and the beaten eggs in another, then set to the side.

3. Place the halved chicken breast between two sheets of If You Care Waxed Paper one at a time, then pound each piece until it is ½ inch thick. Dip each piece of chicken in the milk, then egg, then panko mixture. While the chicken is in the panko, line a rimmed baking sheet or baking dish with If You Care Parchment Paper and place each piece of chicken on top. Make sure to completely cover the chicken with extra panko, then bake for 15 minutes.

4. Remove the chicken from the oven and cover with marinara, remaining parmesan, then mozzarella slices and bake for another 10 to 15 minutes or until cheese is thoroughly melted and bubbling. Serve on top of the spiralized zucchini and enjoy!
